要是回国顺便去的话，可以考虑买航空公司的炼成机票～比如国航，我以前买只需要加50－100澳元（看季节）就可以了！你的行程就是澳洲城市－国内城市－日本城市－国内城市－澳洲城市。

我这种票是在旅行社买的，你可以打电话问一下他们！我只买过国航的，其他航空不清楚～

任何一个都可以！你可以多问几家比较价格

别忘了办两次中国入境的签证。

机票，理论上来说，是在国内买来回日本的机票比较便宜，这里买澳洲往返国内的机票。

Time is limited, Thinking to visit Tokyo ,Disney ,Kyoto and Mt Fuji , not sure if enough time to go further , suggestion please

you should buy your ticket from China, pretty cheap. You can buy China- Tokyo, then Osaka back to China. I used Ctrip to buy my tickets......

how many days you have in total over there? December will be peak, so you better start booking your accommodation as soon as you could now.

You are looking for budget backpacking style or travel? or luxury hotels?
I just came back from there...so may be could give you some info..

Will be a week in Japan. For the acommodation , I would like to experience Japanese style, thinking ta ta mi, something around 200.00 will do. Me with two kids. Thanks

if you go tokyo, you could try Hakone... hot spring onsen etc.. http://english.ichinoyu.co.jp/honkan/ is one of the cheapest room with private hot spring there... but it is a bit old.. if you really wanna try japanese style, you could try and book.  

If you are going Osaka, location for Cross hotel will be great.  Just it is modern style of business hotel, you wont have tatami..
For tokyo if you wamma stay in Shinjuku, I was staying in http://www.hotelsunrouteplazashinjuku.jp/en/.  location wise is not bad, and clean

Great! Thank you so much! Don't you think that Japanese style is really fascinating? I am  getting excited now. Will work out my schedule , tickets and so on...One week holiday needs a lot of homework but save a lot of time because of help from your guys . I might ask about currency , which card is popular used there? Exchange here or there?

in oursteps, they used to recommend 28 degree card.  For you could just put money in advance into the card (just debit it 1st), then use the ATM in the foreign country to take cash... for there is no extra charge from 28 degree and the exchange rate is base on the day you use the ATM, and normally better than lots of money changer.
Nevertheless, 28 degree is going to start charging for cash out from next year, and Since Sept this year, most f the ATM in Japan will not accept Master card.
If you would like to use Master Card to cash out, the only place will be Post Office ATM.  
For Visa, I think 7-11 should be fine too.

If you are not going to join tour, may be that's better to hire a wifi device or 1GB data Sim card.  Google map will help a lot over there.  (You could even use google map for public transport)

After you book online, just need to let them know when will you arrive, they could either send to Airport for you to pick up or just send directly to your booked hotel.


Japan..... one week is definitely not enough.. ;)

First time heard 28degree card, who is the issuer ?  As advised that MC is not used in JP, I definitely need to get myself a new card before my trip. Or can i use Amex? Wifi is absolutely needed as well , so helpful . I know one week in JP is tight. As my 4w A/L is to visit parents in china, will feel guilty if I spend more time in JP. Regret can be always recovered by visiting again.

28 degree is master card... so no point to get one now.  You can use your credit card (Visa /master/Amex/银联）there... esp 银联got lots of different benefit there... (encouraging  china people to spend more... )
But what I was saying is getting cash out from the ATM in Jap directly.
Money Exchange in Aus, are mostly suck... so you might wanna find someplace in your home town for the money exchange.
