请问医疗保险

calo

买的保险cover了一部分看GP的花销。一直都没有看过医生，想down grade到一个更便宜的plan。但是现在正好要去看医生（假设8月份看），不知道能不能看完之后下个月（9月份）down grade。这样保险还能cover 我8月份看GP的花费吗？谢谢

有啊。越高级的能cover的gp。

你买的什么公司的啊？我买的medibank hospital最高级的了，也没有可以cover看GP费用的啊？

没有完全cover啊。只是cover 部分 Out-patient services which includes doctors, specialists and pathology

哦，多谢，以前没有听到过，只知medi bank, bupa什么的，今天又多了一个。
你这个visitor cover, 是给澳洲居民的还是给海外游客的？

非公民民非永久居民都可以
bupa也有类似的啊，按价钱从cover 0%到100%。你自己找下page

我看了一下bupa，对于outpatient,比如看GP或者specialist, private insurance不cover的，你上面给出的保险是给457 working visitor的，貌似不一样啊

下面是bupa网站上的
Inpatient vs outpatient

If you are admitted as a private inpatient, you will be covered for the services listed in your chosen level of hospital cover. If you receive treatment as an outpatient (ie you are not admitted), in most instances you will not be covered by private health insurance. If eligible these services may be claimed from Medicare.
