Scholarship examination - Friday 21 February 2014, Knox Grammar, Sydney
Boarding scholarship examination - Monday 24 February 2014, Dubbo

The application fee is $120. More detailed application information will be available late in 2013.

关的是2014年入学的奖学金申请， 也就是今年已经考完的那一拨。

2014年考2015年的申请要到2013年稍后出来，考试时间先公布了。

你看看原句： Applications for 2014 scholarships have now closed.

不过放在  2015 Scholarships 标题下面确实蛮搞的。

KNOX干活儿的人咋想的。。。

对啊，对他们来说这很容易理解，对我们来说却confuse. 就像路标，熟悉的人觉得理所当然，不熟悉的人就搞不清了。

那个Sons of Old Boys Scholarship 应该是老校友的孩子才可以申请的。

Music Scholarship  -- 比成绩同时要比音乐 。。。

All Rounder Scholarship -- 比成绩同时要德智体美全面发展。。。

那个son of old boys 还要比老爸。老爸不是KNOX 应该是完全没资格申请的吧。。

他家的音乐奖cover 50-100%学费不等。好像比较大方。

Year5 也有， 估计比YEAR7 少吧。
他家的音乐好像最多给50%。

末，他家音乐奖介绍上写给50-100% 不等，很奇迹的有提到钢琴某级也可以报名音乐奖。

现在想想，如果有孩子真的拿了音乐奖学金，中学6年的练习和表演积累下来，也很了不起呢，和音乐高中的效果应该差的不多了。。。

The All Rounder Scholarship Year 7 2015         

        Description       

The All Rounder scholarship is awarded on the basis of a high level of achievement in all areas of school life, including academic, sport, cultural and other activities.

        Notes       
This scholarship offers remission of tuition fees of between 50% and 100% to Year 12 level.

Applications are accepted from students currently attending Knox Grammar School as well as from students who attend other Schools.

An offer of a scholarship is based on the results of the examination, interview and other supporting documentation.

Only a short list of candidates will be interviewed.

All scholarships are held subject to good behaviour and diligence, including minimum standards of achievement. The School reserves the right to divide the proceeds of a single scholarship for award to more than one candidate when candidates are equal.

After on line registration, all applicants are required to forward to the Head of Enrolments a detailed written resume as part of their application.

Complete the resume and forward to the Head of Enrolments by 7th February 2014.

        Description       

Knox Grammar School offers an extensive range of academic scholarships for Year 7 2015. These scholarships offer remission of tuition fees ranging from 50% to 100% to Year 12 level.

Acceptance into the da Vinci Program does not entitle an applicant to a scholarship.

No late applications will be considered.

These scholarships are open to students in Year 6 in 2014 who will be entering Year 7 in 2015.

这个心态好！不给自己和孩子太大压力。 酱油打着打着就拿到了！

不想给孩子和大人任何压力。 试试而已。

我是乐天派，所以先做好了最坏的打算。

2/21 上午考试， 男孩子们很欢乐。儿子在考场找到了自己的同学，开聊。 当天学校里很多穿迷彩服的大孩子，看着像是国内学校搞军训，气氛很不错。

孩子考试后半程，家长早茶。校方介绍，有300多孩子参加考试，目前的计划是给出7个奖学金，但也会根据孩子的情况， 努力争取更多名额。 大约1-1个半月之后开始通知面试， 第一学期结束之前给出OFFER。

儿子的强项是数学。 考完出来，说数学和GA容易，英文稍难。

上午考完，下午申请音乐奖学金的孩子继续参加音乐面试（之前1周学校发email来确认演奏曲目）。10分钟时间，表演两曲不同曲风的作品，一小段sight reading， 简单闲聊几句。搞定。

此行目的是为考重点中学备战，孩子很放松。

1个月过去了，有面试机会的同学应该快要收到消息了。。。

顺便问一句，KNOX 宗教氛围如何？应该没有BARKER那么厉害吧。。。
