Anyone know something about Long service leave? We are under clerks_ Private sector award 2010. The award is silent about LSL. I am not sure if we have this entilement or not? Where to find those info?

I found that web info. But when I tried to call them, I was told now they have joined with Australia Fair work. So all regulations should under http://www.fwc.gov.au/index.cfm. I had a look and could not find any useful info. I try to call them and still waiting, after 30 mins.

I also notice that on the award (http://tabma.com.au/assets/clerks_private3_t.pdf)

23.4 (b) quoted below does mention th

e Long Service Leave.
The employee will incur a debit for each day of absence from duty other than on annual leave, long service leave, public holidays, paid personal leave, workers compensation, paid compassionate leave, paid family leave, or jury service.

Pro-rata Long service leave will be available to employee after 7 years of continuous service. All existing Annual leave must be exhausted and approval from management must be obtained.

Thanks for everyone. I got the answer. Apparently LSL is not under Fair work regulation. It is up to each state's industrial relation to regulate. So under NSW industrial regulation, all employee under morden awards has LSL.
