As you all know, Luffy got broken toe for almost 6 weeks by now.
When he just broke his toe, we took him to emergency clinic and they did x-ray on him in 10 mins and they charged us about $250. They said we should take Luffy to see our normal Vet which will charge much cheaper since they are only for emergency.
Few weeks ago, we asked for x-ray from this normal Vet and they said they charge $450 for x-ray since they have policy for always stating dog for x-ray. The x-ray itself is $250!!
We put desex and x-ray together and they gave us cheaper price and it costed us $560 which is understandable.
I spoke to one of Vets and he said the next x-ray will be much cheaper but he can't really say why it is cheaper.
Last x-ray shows there was no improvement on Luffy's toe, so we have to do another x-ray. When I get quote from this Vet, the price is still $450 and they want me to bring dog to Vet at 8am and no food overnight and state dog blah, blah.
I get angry and called another Vet clinic and they only charge $130 for x-ray and state dog is merely an option.
Now, I'm asking all other dog owners in the forum about this x-ray charging, is that normal?
