请问公立小学什么时候开始报名？

小孩现在4岁了，马上要读KINDY,请问什么时候报名好？另外要打电话booking吗？谢谢！

去你孩子要上的学校网站看，应该有2014年的报名信息和表格的，
一般是在5月份开始就开始接受报名了。

上网打电话跟学校联系，会安排open day的。要尽快报名的。我们上个月就收到学校通知了，因为娃越来越多的，要有兄弟姐妹已在校的，必须5月份报名，不然无任何优先权，以前9，10月报名还有优先滴。

Every school is different. My daughter is starting kindy next year too. I called the school yesterday. The lady on the phone said because we are in the catchment area, we can enrol anytime. She said the school will definitely accept my daughter regardless of what time we enrol. She suggested us bring in the completed form on the open day (around June). BTW, the area we live is mostly houses, hardly any apartments, so I guess there is less demand for kindy places.

不需要，不过Open Day可以带娃去体验体验的。第一印象非常重要的。学校再好，娃要不开心，不喜欢，都是废话呀。

每个学校不一样的，上学校网站查。最好先打个电话，他们会安排面试的。
