if you really want do, i reckon you'd better look through some universities job ads, including position description and key selection criteria. after that you will sort out what are the essential items which you need focus on.

Casual Administrative Assistant
Key selection criteria
Essential
1. Completion of an Advanced Certificate in Laboratory Technology or related area, and/or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge training and/or experience
2. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
3. Ability to complete work tasks in a timely manner
4. Follow standard operating procedures with an appropriate awareness of the relevant Occupational Health and Safety policies.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with fellow staff members, students and recruited volunteers
6. A demonstrated capacity to work in a collegiate manner with other staff and students in the workplace
Desirable
