A BSB (Bank/Branch Number) is a 6 digit number that identifies banks and branches within Australia. It stands for "Bank-State-Branch". You will need to include the BSB of the receiving account when transferring money from your account to a third party account or when a third party wishes to deposit funds into your account.
A Commonwealth Bank BSB starts with 06, for example, 06_ - _ _ _.
An easy way to find your BSB & account number is on the 'My home' section of NetBank, your regular bank statements or a cheque book.
You can also call 13 2221, 24 hours a day, (If you are overseas please call +61 13 2221) 7 days a week or visit any Commonwealth Bank branch. Remember, before we can give your account number we are required to identify you.
You can also view your account information online using NetBank.
