土木本科生，实习求建议。。。

本人是土木大三， 准备暑假实习，学长们都是回国做的，有假的有真的，我希望能够在澳洲找。
说说我的情况，成绩还行，平均分85+，都是HD。英文平均6.5.我知道找工作，成绩用处很少，主要是networking。
马上考试，平时赶作业，都没有时间去想暑假实习的安排。看到网上好多实习都要pr或者citizen。要求不低啊。
毕业的要求是要有12weeks的实习。
求土木的大大们，给我点建议，如果有人在澳洲实习过，求分享经验。

Based on what I know, the best way is to contact lectures (senior level, such as senior lecture or Professor) you familiar with and to ask whether they have any social contact can help you. Most situations they know somebody in the industry well and these companies would like to take a student engineer recommended by their friends.

BTY, as a student, no matter what major you are in, holding a HD acadamic record will be a tremendous advantage when applying for a job, particulaly for graduate program.

在现在如此不景气的经济情况下，你又没有PR，说实话，在澳洲找到实习的可能性已经很微了。
连一些政府部分的graduate program都从几十个砍到了几个

我觉得成绩好对找工作没有任何坏处，所以，为什么不弄好点呢，而且还有奖学金拿。。。

您说的也对，学长和我说实在找不到，给他说声，他帮我联系国内的朋友。。。
不过，找实习比找正式工作容易点，政府部门我也不准备看，基本上都是只找当地人，我主要是看那些非政府机构，这样他们对身份的要求低点，比如最近西澳的矿企不就是因为缩减成本偏好招外劳。

civil 为什么要学water & waste water treatment？ 这不是environmental engineering的东西吗？
莫非是去搞stormwater和sewer的drainage？

不懂也，刚开出来的，不喜欢可以换别的学，我感觉也比较鸡肋，我考虑把它换成别的。

有的学校environment eng 是在civil eng 下面。而且civil 本来就要学water有关的知识
你也可以试试government的工作。对实习生他们不一定要求身份

civil的water中文是不是水利，waste water感觉和化学有关的多点。
如果是学关于水利，我更愿意去碰，你要是说教怎么净化水，那个还是算了吧，跨界了。。。

water quality也是CIVIL的一部分啊。

Choose to be a structural eng, much better than civil. Come to WA and join the mining, easy to find a job and $ is really good. 3yrs eng easily gets 100k package.

您是做结构的？土木这么几个分支，哪个比较好点？学长说要偷懒选地质，如果，要挑战选structure或者transportation
