CSIRO ICT Centre (www.ict.csiro.au), together with Macquarie University, is looking for high quality PhD candidates for admission in the 2012 academic year. Applicants should meet the admission criteria for Higher Degree Research at Macquarie University as described on this webpage: http://www.hdr.mq.edu.au/information_about/applications. Eligible PhD candidates may be offered MQRES scholarships, if they are unsuccessful to receive Australian Government scholarships (IPRS for international students and APA for domestic students), valued at AUD$22,500 per year (tax free), plus tuition fees (2011 rate). Thesuccessfulapplicants may also be eligible for CSIRO top-up scholarships subject toavailability. Interested applicants should forward their detailed academic CV and mention a research topic from the list below, to andrew.zhang@csiro.au and eryk.dutkiewicz@mq.edu.au before July 31, 2011. Formal applications at Macquarie University for international students close on 31 August 2011 and for domestic students on 31 October 2011.
