刚接到一个volunteer 的Treasure工，要求做2年的bookkeeping and then run balance sheet,p&l for them to apply for Government grant with non-profit-organisation.

Without any accounting software and total transaction per year will be within 10k.

I setup a spreadsheet template to bookkeeping all the receipts on hand and run with trail balance, balance sheet,P&L

Q: do I need to entry with double-entry method?  Such as: DR: expense CR:Bank?
Or only need to book expense or revenue?

Is there any formal format for balance sheet and P&L from government office website?

不是两年！是做2年的帐，他们之前一直没有合适的人，账面一塌糊涂，我就拿了所有的发票收据，从头记账，所以是2年多的帐，但是我已经做好了，就是不知道对不对，毕竟从来没有自己设立过账套

我也觉得这个工作很好，关键是从头到位都是自己建立的，而不是傻乎乎的跟着软件走，很多时间我要动脑子去摆平那些report,希望他们拿了我的报告可以申请到福利吧

我bookkeeping的经验不是很多，我就说说自己的，希望能帮上lz

大部分，我都是用MYOB 或者QuickBooks，账面比较清楚了然！一口气做几年的帐，我帮一个小公司做过，真称为shoebox accounting,all bills in a messy heap box... 不是gov的，而且也没有accounting software, I worked with traditional handwritten ledgers. how you set up your account depends on what kind of system u r using. i dont work with double-entry methods often...

for the balance sheet, if a business is already up, and has completed the first yr of business, and easy way to c what balance sheet accounts r required is to get your hands on last yr's balance sheet report from the accountant.

他们没有任何的系统，都是我拿回家做的，也是乱七八糟的单据放在一个小包包里，有的已经归类好了，但是很乱，09年和10年的同月份放在一个信封里，所以我就自己用spreadsheet重新建立的账本，当然是从网上下载的，然后link了acct code记账,就这麽简单
也不知道行不行

用SPREADSHEET应该没有问题，你就把每笔分录计入每个科目，就当时手工记账一样，然后加总就可以得出B/L,P/L，没问题的，就是比较繁琐些。
