Selected Woolworths Almond Kernels 750g have been recalled.
The product recall applies to all Woolworths Almond Kernels 750g packs with a best before date of 10/11/11 and 11/11/11. The product was sold in Woolworths/Safeway/Food for Less supermarkets in NSW, VIC, SA, NT ,WA, QLD and North QLD from 15 April 2011 until 21 April 2011.
Defect: The Woolworths Almond Kernels 750g pack is being recalled due to the potential presence of Salmonella.
Hazard: The product may pose a health risk to consumers who consume this product. Any consumers concerned about their heath should seek medical advice.
What to do: Consumers should not eat this product. Any customer who may have this product should return it to their nearest Woolworths / Safeway / Food for Less Supermarket for a full refund.
This recall applies to product with best before dates of 10 & 11th November 2011. The best before date is represented in numeric form on the back of the package just above the barcode. No other Woolworths branded products are affected by this product recall.
