The Senior Software Engineer will be providing a leading role in technical analysis, design / specification and software development within Transurban’s Core Tolling System (GLIDe). The purpose of this position is to provide operational support to Transurban’s core tolling system (GLIDe). GLIDe is a mission critical system which enables Transurban to assess usage of the road asset (Citylink) and invoice customers appropriately. GLIDe is being deployed into Transurban’s Citylink asset with the expectation that it will replace legacy tolling systems in other Transurban assets over time.


The GLIDe application suite, represented by Unix/Oracle environments is typically 24x7 in operation and includes:
• Oracle CC&B – Customer Relationship Management
• Custom developed applications running on Oracle Application Server and Middleware technology such as BPEL & ESB (Fusion) – Core Asset, Interoperability, Integration, etc
