i suggest you to get close to one of retailer that you know and source from them.
reason:
- they will support you, sometimes even if product is out of warranty
- MSY don't give a shit to whoever you are, prove of purchase is what they look at
- wholesale will have strict warranty policy to customers
- retailer has better buying power, which may actually sell you same product with cheaper price.
