Subject: Invitation to recreational fishing survey
Dear Sir/Madam,
Fisheries Victoria would like to invite you to participate in a study on fishing facilities and locations.
TNS Social Research is currently conducting a study on behalf of Fisheries Victoria to help identify the types of facilities and locations that Victorian recreational fishers are most likely to need along the coast in the future. In 2009, Fisheries Victoria and a number of recreational fishers identified the need for a comprehensive study of Victorian coastal recreational fishing facilities outside of Port Phillip Bay and Western Port.
This is an opportunity for you to have a say in this important study. The study will assess existing levels and likely future needs and the economic and social benefits that might be achieved by developing new facilities.
Your participation is extremely important to ensure that a full range of views are reflected in this study. Please be assured that your response will remain confidential and you will not be identified at the individual level. The survey is being carried out in compliance with the Information Privacy Act 2009.
