Nude boy beach photos: Manly arrest

A man charged with taking inappropriate photos of a boy at Manly yesterday allegedly had 150 photos on his camera, many of those sexually explicit images of other boys, police say.
Police arrested the 37-year-old man after a father allegedly spotted him photographing his naked five-year-old son at Queenscliff Beach about 2.30pm and told lifeguards and police.
A 37-year-old man was arrested in the public toilets at Keirle Park and had his digital camera seized.
Police allegedly found 150 photos of the child as well as photographs of other boys.
The man, from Medlow Bath, was charged with filming a person's private parts without consent, possessing child pornography, offensive behaviour and larceny.
He was granted bail and will appear at Manly Local Court on January 28. |
