a few more things you can do.
headings: first change the headings, and they should be in hierarchical orders, h1 h2 and so on. make sure h1 has the keyword/keywords you'd like to be searched.
content: use as many key words as possible in your content.
links: try to submit your site to those bookmark / directory sites. when you link to other pages in your own site, try to use keywords instead of things like "read more" "click here" etc. also if you have friends or business partners have websites, ask them to link to your site or pages, again, create the links around the keywords.
