为了弄清蜱虫是怎么引起的这个病，找了一篇文章看了下，初步弄清了来龙去脉

1. 据专家说是蜱虫咬了牛和羊类动物，之后咬了人，便把动物血液中的某种分子传播给了人。
Experts think the ticks that cause alpha-gal syndrome carry alpha-gal molecules. These come from the blood of the animals they usually bite, such as cows and sheep. When a tick that carries these molecules bites a human, the tick sends alpha-gal into the person's body.

2. 被这种蜱虫咬了之后，有的人会产生强烈的免疫反应，身体会产生一种抗体去战斗，去清除入侵者，从此一吃红肉或由哺乳动物制成的食物就会发生过敏反应。（这算后遗症？）
For unknown reasons, some people have a strong immune response to these molecules. The body makes proteins called antibodies. These antibodies target alpha-gal as something the immune system needs to clear out. The response is so strong that people with this allergy can no longer eat red meat. They cannot eat any foods made from mammals without having an allergic reaction.

3. 此病能治好吗？很不幸，除了忌口没法根除。严重的，肾上腺素的药物可缓解症状，马上看急诊
There's no treatment other than avoiding red meat and other products made from mammals. If you have a serious allergic reaction, you may need medicine called epinephrine and treatment at the emergency room.

如何避免：

最重要的是不被蜱虫咬到。户外活动少去灌木丛生的地方，躲不开的话，长衣长裤帽子装备上，回家脱下外衣扔洗衣机。

另外还一个方法也很有用，也是我上面提到的文章里的，到家马上洗澡，蜱虫并不是马上附着在你身上，通常会先在皮肤上停留数小时

It's helpful to shower as soon as you come indoors. Ticks often stay on your skin for hours before they attach themselves. Shower and use a washcloth to try to remove any ticks.

养只狗狗太操心了

事实证明，甘蔗蟾蜍在对抗澳大利亚破坏甘蔗的甲虫方面彻底失败了：它们不仅没能控制害虫，自己反而变成了害虫。
在这场斗争中，唯一“高兴”的是狗狗，它们在甘蔗蟾蜍身上发现了新大陆，沉迷于舔蟾蜍来获得迷幻药般的快感。
为这迷幻药般的快感不怕搭上狗命，唉。

狗狗舔了蟾蜍后：

毒素通过牙龈快速的被吸收，而且眼睛，鼻子以及裸露的伤口也会吸收毒素。
If your dog has licked, chewed or eaten a cane toad, otherwise known as mouthing, the toxin is rapidly absorbed through the gums.  The toxin can also be absorbed through the eyes, nose and any open wounds as well. The consequences of this toxin varies.

毒素刺激牙龈造成狗狗流口水，口吐白沫。

大部分的生命周期循环在：球茎-小叶牙-叶子-叶子枯萎-球茎休眠
直到积蓄足够的能量后，球茎-花芽-绽放一次绚烂的花生，然后归于平静

据说第一次开花会积累很长时间，比如十年，，但开过一次以后，再次开花的积累时间会减少很多，比如五年，昨天在网上看到还有说虽然进入了开花这条路线，但也有由于能量不够，最终没能完美绽放的腐尸花，也是遗憾了花生，可惜浏览时没做记录，不记得是在哪个网页看到的了。

我感到新奇的是那个像小树的植物不是树，居然是叶子（leaf), 而那个像树干的东西叫叶柄（petiole），普通植物是树上开花结果，这是地下竞争有我没你，同一个球茎展示不同的生命。

在动博馆看到的袋狼标本，大多龇牙裂嘴凶残成性。
袋狼  狼 狐狸 鬣狗四大恶兽无一不被人类追杀，死后制成标本也是一付凶相毕露样子。
替天行道，袋狼灭绝。

Echidnas, together with the platypus, are the world's only monotremes, or egg-laying mammals.

举棋不定之际关注疫情走势。
“最流行株”xBB.1.5，具有极高的“免疫逃逸”能力。已经打了四针，不知道还要打多少针才能培养起自身“染疫逃逸”能力。
澳洲虽然中招人数不少，但中xBB.1.5才区区五例。中招分析，八成新人，二成旧人。
看来最后要练成百毒不侵，一靠打针，二靠密接。挺过来是万幸，不幸就来不了了。

看过几次深海探索的纪录片，很多深海物种美的令人窒息

曾经买过深海鱼来吃，那个肉质和浅海的不一样，有点半透明的胶质状。

现在有点明白了，这是因为它们的身体里胶质组织高于胶原蛋白，有助于悬空漂浮和游的快一点
This is because they have higher proportions of gelatinous tissue than collagens, keeping them neutrally buoyant in the ocean and allowing them to swim faster.

在浅海，海参蠕动爬行，遇到紧急情况时，连滚带爬。
move very slowly with their tube feet or tentacles, like worms crawling. The so-called “emergency swim” is more like a sped-up rolling slightly above the bottom.

在深海，海参会“跳舞”
We can still see the crawling trails they left behind, but more often, we see them ‘dancing’ around.

具体咋跳呢，举个例子，大意就是可以腾空跃起，然后在空中有韵律的来回扭动吧，
(e.g., Enypniastes sp.) will use an umbrella-like brim swimming structure to lift the body vertically off the seafloor. In contrast, others can move around the water column by flexing the posterior portion of the body and combining a rhythmic pulsation from the anterior brim (e.g., Paelopatides sp.). Moreover, they can sustain such an active movement for more than 20 minutes!

接连看到这么多鲸鱼冲滩报道，很吃惊。后来又报道，更吃惊，原来是疑似痴呆，迷路了。

几个痴呆也就算了，还带上一群。
这鱼名字不好，pilot,  领航员；   pilot whales 导航鲸/巨头鲸。就象跟着导航开车，把车开到海里去了。

1。领航鲸属于海豚家族
Despite their name and respectable body length (five to seven metres), pilot whales are actually members of the dolphin family.

2。群居
Like many other dolphins, pilot whales are highly social, and they live in stable family groups .

3. 疾病和老龄可能是导致搁浅的重要因素，但为什么同一片水域会重复发生搁浅事件？
Why whales strand has perplexed observers since the days of Aristotle. In truth, there is probably no single answer. Disease and old age likely play an important role, but they cannot easily explain why pilot whales strand in such large numbers, and often in the same spot. For example, in 2009, 80 pilot whales came ashore in Hamelin Bay, Western Australia. Nine years later, another 150 whales stranded on the same beach.
