- International Freight Forwarding
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, creative and friendly person to join our customer service team. An exciting opportunity exists to join the new Australia team in a world leading logistics provider, East Botany Location.Confident, experienced person sought, Salary negotiable based on experience
Essential Criteria:
A proactive & 'Can - Do' Attitude
Good communication and organizational skills
Customer service focused approach
Import & Export background in airfreight and sea freight
EDI knowledge essential – 2 year experience
ABOUT YOU
You must have local industry experience in import and export operations both ocean and air, you should be a confident person with a meticulous approach to daily tasks which includes but not limited to :
Registration and Data Entry by using EDI with relevant authorities for accurate and efficient delivery or collection of shipments
Purchase Order Management follow up and completion
Interacting directly with broad range of customers and their requests
Implementing and revising of customer expectations and specific requirements
ABOUT THE JOB
*Facilitate the communication between the customer and the relevant departments.
*Liaise with clients on a daily basis regarding incoming orders based on agreed timings, projected volumes and possible deviations to existing service agreements.
*Liaise with clients about data integrity issues and pro-actively seeking solutions to existing
data integrity issues within the framework of current agreements.
*Liaise with both - client nominated or company nominated carriers - in regards to service
requirements, performance issues, delivery follow up and ad hoc requests .
