About Sales Role
Due to recent company expansion, BSG is looking for new sales team members to help grow its business across Australia and carry out potential leads.
We will consider:
- Experienced people from the industry that will bring something new to the team
- Graduates looking for a full-time role and the opportunity to build a career within Solar Electrical Wholesale
To be successful in this role, you will need to show the following qualities:
Skills & Experience:
● A great communicator (both internally and externally presentation skills), enthusiastic, confident, and ready for a great challenge
● Someone who is outgoing, approachable, has a positive attitude and impeccable attention to detail in preparing reports.
● Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar industry/ role
● Have a proven record in a sales role
● Comfortable working with Office 365 (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook)
● Initiative to stay up to date with the latest industry news and to learn the ropes
● Ability to work autonomously and within a small team environment and take on the responsibility of tasks from inception to finish.
● Keen, upbeat and outgoing
● Multilingual speakers in both verbal and written communication can be an advantage
● Current Drivers Licence
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
● Reaching out to potential leads generated from marketing activities (primarily on the phone, in person or email based)
● Preparing reports on customers electrical usage
● All information and proposals sent to clients are prepared and communicated with a high level of professionalism
● Preparing quotes and following up on quotations
● Respond to all customer enquiries within agreed timeframes
● Attend regional and interstate trips when required
● Presenting and consulting with prospective clients on their power usage and their solar needs
● Working with management to continually develop marketing materials according to customer feedback
● Processing connection applications with relevant energy distributors when required
● Achieving agreed upon sales targets and sets KPI
● Maintain weekly sales planning reports
● Developing plans with management to develop existing market segments
● Tracking progress of leads
