SGHS Musical questions

Wondering if any current/former SGHS students/parents can help me? So we heard on the grapevine that the school is putting on a musical next year. One which my daughter is particularly interested in, so we're running a little recon

Could anyone tell us whether yr 7's are welcome to participate and if so:
- when would auditions be held?
- do the mains typically go to the seniors?
- is the audition piece specified for each role?
- finally how fierce is the competition?

Musical一般都是10年级学生参与的吧，机会会稍微倾向于选择drama的学生。具体信息应该问学校的音乐老师。除非家长跟学校有battle，不然应该走正常渠道而不是在这里问。

Thanking you for your response, it is much appreciated, we were trying to gain a better understanding of how auditions are run by the school from the people without the letterhead. There is much to learn if we put our ear to the ground. Your advice comes to much disappointment for my child as she was already "quiet"ly preparing for it. So now she told me she will aptly be revolting instead, I'll call the school to find out if auditions have already started then. Thanks again for your help.

Audition Year 7-9 今天下午已经结束了， 下周 Year10-11, 跳舞再下一周。
应该明年7年级的来不及参加了。其实也没关系，机会很多。可以参加drama club. 很有趣。表演机会也多。

I think it will be hard because the rehearsal will be on every Monday after school.

Thank you for your help, so I did manage to correspond with the school and the musical director advised that the auditions exclude 2021 yr 7, but did infact include current yr 7-11 which is still great! We would have been fairly unimpressed if the musical is put on exclusively by the y10 cohort to be honest, so I'm at least very relieved to hear that we will be seeing the talent across the years. Thanks again
