Passengers may transit through Singapore with travel documents valid for their final destination, provided they do not leave the international transit area of the airport.
Visa is not required for passenger in transit for less than 24 hours.
Visa is required for passengers in transit who have to pass through immigration and customs. They may be required to clear immigration and customs if they meet any of the following conditions:
Passengers who are not holding a boarding pass for their connecting flights and travelling with a budget airline. These are Air Asia, Air India Express, Cebu Pacific Air, FireFly Airline, Jetstar Airlines, Malindo Air, Lion Air, Scoot Airline, Spring Airlines, VietJet Air and West Air Airline.
Passengers travelling with a different carrier for their connecting flights.
Passengers intending to transfer between Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Passengers are highly recommended to confirm the transit procedure at Singapore Changi International Airport (SIN) with their carriers prior to travel.
