请教悉尼同学们一个小白问题

帮亲戚的孩子看HSC悉尼高考。
然后看到UAC上这么写：
Changes to course requirements for 2019
When you read Mathematics, this refers to the HSC course titled Mathematics, not Mathematics General 2.

In 2019, a course prerequisite of Mathematics (Band 4) will be introduced for those courses that currently have an assumed knowledge of Mathematics, HSC Mathematics Extension 1 and HSC Mathematics Extension 2. This will affect advanced computing, agriculture, commerce, economics, engineering, health, medicine, pharmacy, psychology, science and veterinary courses. It will also apply to combined courses in those areas. The assumed knowledge will still apply.

我看的一头雾水。本人坐标墨尔本，墨尔本分General Maths 低数，Maths Method 中数和 Specialist Maths高数

悉尼这些 Titled Maths, Maths General 2, Maths, Maths (band 4), Maths Extension 1 ,2 到底是什么？

就是说如果大学课程写了要求MATHMATICS， 那就意味着是MATHMATICS（２U）， MATH EXT １（ ３U） 或者MATH EXT２ （４U），MATH GENERAL２ 是不算数的。 MATH GENERAL２可能太过简单。

Maths分四档，Maths General 2是最简单的

就是对这些专业，最简单的这个不作数

就是Maths General 是1U， Maths 是2U对吧？ 那Maths General 1就是Maths 2U吗？ Maths （band 4）呢？谢谢

BAND４ 是分数。 最高是BAND６， BAND ４应该是中间位置吧，也就是说HSC 选了MATH， 最后考的分数还不能太差。

这句话的意思是不是说Band 4 包括了2U， 3U和 4U，但是不包括最简单的那个General 2
