从一个美国地方电力局招聘广告,看在澳洲的自学充电,EE方向。
美国地方电力局招聘的广告原文:“Candidate will administer, troubleshoot, and maintain the SCADA system computers, databases, and circuit paths. Will also troubleshoot network and email problems. Will provide computer, software and office equipment technical support for KAMO and member co-op employees. Must be able to install and configure PCs, servers, software and office equipment. Must have knowledge of IT, SCADA, and electric utilities.
Must have knowledge of network topology, routers, switches, ICCP Protocol, RS232 Communications. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and maintain Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) systems for KAMO member cooperatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in the following areas: SCADA Communications, SCADA Database, SCADA UNIX host, SCADA Client PCs, SCADA RTUs, hardware and software troubleshooting on servers and PCs, DNP3, Modbus, Telegyr 8979, ICCP data link, electric transmission system theory and operations, TCP networking. Requires the ability to effectively use equipment such as, but not limited to: Servers, personal computers, laptops, Operating Systems Communications testing equipment, and power and hand tools.“
我的理解分析:
欢迎探讨:电力工程师在国外是笼统的概念,严格意义上说我们是真正的电力工程师,不涉及电子工程,通讯,计算机工程的内容,但在国外,EE都是包括所有,比如:传统的电力工程在美国应该是POWER ENGINEERING,而国内的POWER ENGINEERING是热能动力工程---在美国是划在机械专业里面;传统电力工程目前并非优势学科,目前电子工程,通讯,计算机工程都是走在前面,传统电力工程要求数学高,在美国是算比较难读下来的专业之一。
目前打算多学点,从我自己理解的角度出发,上面的招聘是要掌握计算机,通讯和电子部门学科,网络拓扑结构,通讯协议,SCADA系统,数据库都是要学习的学科。
不是我要去应聘,此广告是从美国地方电力局得到,我只是想延伸自己的学习,多学点东西。
