I often get asked by friends how to improve accent.
From my personal experience, we can start from correct sound, clearness and slowness. Then we can address the accent. Don't rush and try to finish the sentence too quick.
Here is a good resource. I can't post the link, but you can go to youtube, search living English and find sisters and brothers.
It is good Australian accent. It seems too easy. But we need to start with the short and easy sentence first. Once we get the hang of it, we can tackle the long sentences. |
