What you'll be doing
The Application Specialist, eMaternity is responsible for delivering ongoing application support and major service improvements of the state-wide eMaternity application, by applying application specific technical expertise and relevant clinical knowledge to achieve optimal business outcomes.
1.Strong analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
2.Excellent organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
3.Proven interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
4.Proven capacity to contribute to and implement strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and work within an operational support business unit
5.Escalation of issues to vendor as required and report on vendors performance according to agreed Service Levels
6.Extensive experience and a record of achievement in supporting clinical information systems and the ability to understand and translate business requirements to ICT solutions within a large and complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.
7.Demonstrated understanding of maternity clinical care processes and work practices within a large health care organisation/NSW Health
8.Registered Midwife in NSW
