Visas without Health Check Assessment/Insurance Evidence
If you do not undertake the health checks, our departement might only consider a 1 year validity with multiple entry, and providing for a stay in Australia of up to 3 months on each entry. However, you will still be requested to undertake the health check under specific circumstance as follows.
you are likely to enter a health care or hospital environment in Australia for visiting a pregnant Australian resident or a Australian resident who is in hospital for medical treatment;
you claim on the application form to be in a progressive/post stage or have close contact to a certain decease;
you have a record which is related to a health concern in the Departmental system
If you intend to undertake the health checks but do not wish to provide health insurance evidence with 12 months upfront payment, our departement might only consider a 1 year validity with multiple entry visa, and providing for a stay in Australia of up to 12 months on each entry.
NOTE: Applicant who is aged 75 years or older MUST undertake health checks and provide health insurance with in 28 days. |
