the plane was late and dectives(detectives) were waiting at the airport all morning.they were expecting a valuable parcle of diamonds from south Africa.a few hours earlier someone (had) had told the police that thief(thieves) would try to steal the diamonds.when plane arrived,some of dectives(detectives) were waitting inside the main building,while others were waitting on the airfield.two men took the parcle off the plane and carry it into the custmer(custmers) house,while two dectives(detectives) (were keeping) keep the garden  at the door,two others opened the parcle,to their suprise,the procius(precious) parcle was full of stones and sand.

JS has a(the) most beautiful garden in our town.many(nearly) everybody entry(enters for) the nicest graden comptition each year,but Js wins every time,B's garden is larger than JS's,B  work(s) harder than JS,and grows (more) flower(s) and vegetable(s),JS's garden is more interesting,he has made (neat paths)new part and (has built)build wooden bridge over the(a) pool.I like garden(s) too,but I did not like hard work.every year,I enter (for) the garden competition too,and always win a little prize for the worst garden in the town.

it was wensday(wendnesday) evening,we went to the town hall,it was last day this year,and large crowed(crowd) people (had) gather(gathered) at(under) the town hall colock(clock).it was(would) strith(strike) twelve in 20 minutes time,fifteen minutes passed,and then at five to twelve the colock stopped.the big-----(minute hand) did not move.we waited and waited, but not(nothing) happened.suddenly someone shouted"it is  two minutes past twelve, that colock has stopped,"I looked my watch,it was ture.the big colock(clock) did not(refuse to) welcome the new year,at that moment, everybody began loud the thing.(to laugh and sing)

on wendesday evening, I went to the town hall.it was last day of the year,and (a) larger crowd people  had gathered under the town hall clock.it was striked 12 in 20 minutes time.15 minutes passed and then at 5 to twelve,the clock stopped.the big minute hand did not move,we waited and waited, but nothing happened.suddenly someone shouted "it is 2 minutes pass twelve,that clock has stopped."I looked (at)my watch,it was ture.the big clock refused to welcome the new year,and that monment, everybody began laugh and sing.
