Title: Trainee Wireless Telecommunications Technicians

GRA Networks is a leading provider of services to clients in the telecommunications industry. We provide a range of services including design, project management and construction. We specialise in the installation, commissioning and testing of critical infrastructure. We are currently seeking Wireless Telecommunications Technicians with various levels of experience to work on a variety of telecommunications projects across Victoria.

On Job Training will include but not limited to the following:

•        Installation and commissioning of all types of fixed and wireless network equipment
•        Installation and commissioning of BTS equipment
•        Equipment - assembly, erection, positioning and labelling
•        Install, test and maintain telecommunications transmission equipment
•        Installation and customisation of telecommunications software applications
•        Analysis of system faults
•        Decommissioning of old transmission equipment
•        Completion of appropriate process documentation

Trainees will undertake Training and will be expected to learn the following over the course of the traineeship:

•        Telecommunications industry site experience
•        Working at height certification
•        Construction Industry white card
•        RF awareness certification
•        First aid certification
•        Current drivers licence
•        Skills in fault diagnosis
•        Will need good communications skills both written and verbal
•        Training in Huawei/Ericsson/Eltek technologies
•        Training in Telstra, Optus and VHA installations standards
•        Training in Transmission and Microwave projects
•        Be able to demonstrate knowledge of safe working practices
