含义：请原谅我说的脏话

这个词我其实不很确定还好不好用 - 世界越来越小，如果你用这个词的时候身边正好坐着一个法国人，她会怎么反应？恐怕不会太开心。但在”安全“的环境里我还是听到过不少次有local aussie用这个词，因为在比较非正式的场合说些粗话实际上是增进感情和认同感的一种手段，先说出来，再”pardon my French“，这样就既得到了说脏话的快感，又无损尖头鳗的风度。我发出来让大家了解其含义，但是使用的时候应该小心些。

例句：

gandu: hey bulaohu I heard you guys broke the Oracle database yesterday.

bulaohu: what the f*ck? who the f*ck told you that? let me set the story straight, these Oracle morons hard-coded the IP address of one of our domain controllers into their system without even telling us. They are f*cking idiots. Then that domain controller died because of hardware failure, now they f*cking blame us for causing trouble? Don't they know what DNS is for? F*cking dumb trucks.

gandu: OK, chill out mate. At least now I know what the real story is. What kind of f*ckwit will hard code IP address?

bulaohu: exactly! Oh, pardon my french mate.
gandu: Nah, you are right mate.

I don't think it's used much these days precisely for the same reason as you mentioned.

Exactly. I might use this during private conversations, like when I'm having a cuppa with a close friend who is NOT French, but probably not at any large gatherings.

为什么说是French呢？人家还说法语是世界上最好听的语言？是不是英国人和法国人不好，所以英语中很多不好的话都是french式的？

忽然看见这个，想说一句，一般Pardon My Frech都是自己说的，我比较少听见对方会替你说。
第二，为什么是French，这个是因为这个语句是英国人开始的，英国人其实很不喜欢法国人，其中的原因之一就是曾进法国想占领英国，如果你看英国的历史就知道了。
就好像中国对日本人一样。
