It's not uncommon at all for patients presenting with foot problems long after the initial trauma (the longest I personally encountered was 35 years). Apart from the previous injury, other factors might contribute to the process, such as foot wear, sports, other diseases etc. As others suggest, you need to go through the conservative treatment to see if that will help and to what extent. |
