Total remuneration package to: $82,240.00 ($64,827.00-$74,527.00) Salary package includes base salary, annual leave loading and employer contributions to superannuation scheme.
Position provides GIS technical support, data collation, manipulation and presentation within the Region particularly the Asset Management System and achieving broader outcomes for conservation planning and management.
Selection Criteria
Relevant TAFE certificate or equivalent.
Extensive experience in data capture, manipulation and management, with detailed knowledge and understanding of Geographical Information Systems and applications in an organisational context, with proven experience in problem solving using GIS.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, effective project management and written and oral communication skills.
Basic navigation, cartographic and air photo interpretation skills, and the ability to provide advice and coach on the use of GIS.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
Demonstrated experience with word processing, spreadsheet, database, drawing and GPS mapping software, and experience in field survey techniques.
A current drivers licence, willingness to fly in light aircraft and helicopter and undertake field surveys. |
