give you some info,
one of my friend purchased an aprtment (2-2-1) by Meriton in 2006/2007, (very 1st apartment mascot) was about 400K
i tried to seek some in that area and it was about 700K in 2009/2010
last yr i was told that 2 br was from 850K (starting price last yr, and off plan)
mascot is close to city, close to station, close to traffic, and close to airport.
the size of apartment is smaller and smaller, price is higher and higher.
basic people living there are low-mid class (maybe a little bias).
personally i do not think there is much room to go up in next 3 yrs, as some house/townhouse in east suburb just more 1.5m, much close to beach.
and it is super high rise apartment-suburb, whenever you want to rent out/sell your property, there will be heaps of similar ones competing with you.
therefore, personally i will consider twice/triple anything there ATM. |
