这是你想当然的结论。

澳洲大学优待留学生是因为教育出口是一大产业。中国大学优待留学生是为了外交。

英美名校可不惯着留学生。从结果来看，美国藤校本科每年在澳洲录取的华人学生数量估计一只手就能数过来。藤校本科在澳洲录取的总数虽然不少，但大多偏爱有体育特长的白人女生。

这个，坛上比我更用心研究这个的应该不多。再次科普一下。

关于学费。牛剑都知道不富有就不说了。而美国大藤都是Need-based Financial Aid，有录取就按家境减免学费，这都是明明白白挂在官网上的。千万别说是不想付高额学费才不去，要想承担高额学费家庭年收入要在20万美元以上。坛上有个老帖，有兴趣可以搜一下，澳洲男生音乐特长读普林斯顿，学费加生活费减免下来比澳洲大学还便宜。

Harvard is affordable for all admitted students. Financial aid covers all demonstrated need for all students, regardless of citizenship or citizenship status. Families making under $75,000 a year pay nothing for their student's education, and families making between $75,000-$150,000 pay 0-10% of their incomes.

Is there financial aid available for foreign students? Yes, financial aid is available for foreign students on exactly the same basis as for American students. Although foreign students are not eligible for any federal funding, the College has its own job and scholarship money available to foreign students.

感谢你的分享，这真是颠覆了我的认知，藤校挂在网站上几十年的说辞都不做数。

确认一下，你见到的有offer没financial aid是指本科阶段，不是硕士阶段对吗？毕竟众多周知藤校的master几乎是没有奖学金的，很多项目的含金量也出了名的低。

我工作中说得上话有一个哈佛本科，一个Upenn本科，一个Brown本科，明天可以厚着老脸去跟他们请教下。

假设我在澳洲家庭收入20万，Yale学费加住宿费加书本费加伙食费全包需要交1.5万美元 （大约2万澳币），学校免费提供6万美元。我是完全不觉得贵负担不起的。

假如我澳洲家庭收入15万，我就只需要交5千美元，学校免费提供7万美元，简直划算爆了。

另外Yale都写明了“All of Yale’s undergraduate financial aid is awarded on the basis of financial need. There are no merit-based or academic scholarships.”，请你分享下之前提到的认识的有offer没有奖学金的是什么个情况。

还是想请你分享下 “没奖学金的offer毕业生“ 大概是什么情况。是因为学校不是藤校，还是是因为是硕士。

你笑是因为你知道的真的不多。你要是每年都看见几个没奖学金的offer毕业生和你聊你就不觉得了

这边很少会出去读硕士吧，我没怎么见过。

都是申请了并拿到了英美名校的offer然后没去上，转而读了本地的本科是吗。。。。那就是无从考证的例子了。


读英美名校硕士的自然是有的，我最近在看法学院，注意到现任澳洲高院大法官里一个剑桥Master of Laws，一个Harvard Master of Laws。往届大法官中在牛剑和大藤拿法硕的更是一大把。
