About 50 people rallied outside the consulate calling for the Chinese Government to improve human rights in the Tibetan region. The protesters have chanted and shaved their heads as an expression of sorrow and solidarity. "What they are doing in Tibet is not acceptable to the international world," said the Dalai Lama's Australian representative Atisha Tenzin. Sandup Tsering was one of the protesters who shaved their heads. "To show our deep sorrow and sadness for the recent killings in Tibet and also to express our support to others in Tibet," he said.
