(In studio) 主持人：More angry protests across the country over escalating violence in Tibet, but this time from pro-China demonstrators. Thousands joined the rallies, disrupting traffic and catching police off-guard. (PICTURE slogan “STOP MEDIA DISTORTION”) Chanting “one world, one dream”, the Beijing Olympic slogan, protesters call for unity between Tibet and China. 采访者1：One China, one family. The group is hitting back at pro-Tibet campaigners by blaming extreme separatists for recent killings. 采访者2: What was happening was exactly like World War II, like Kristallnacht – what Hitler did to the Jewish. 采访者3: Who killed who? That is the real problem, the real question. (PICTURE slogan ”Tibet WAS, IS and ALWAYS WILL BE a part of China!” Slogan “RESPECT TRUTH RESPECT CHINA”) Anger too over media reports. 采访者4: CNN is bullshit. 采访者5: They have been attacking China for bloody no reason. I am very ashamed of this. Protesters are also demanding an end to the violence dogging the torch relay. 采访者6: I think in any country this is unacceptable. Despite the event being highly orgarnised, it disrupted traffic for several hours. (PICTURE All sing in Chinese 前进，前进，前进进！) The number of protesters even surprised police. They had been expecting up to 1000, the final number closer to 5000. Victoria police: They have negotiated with us, there’ll be a quick ending to this, and they’ll do their speeches and they’ll move on. So everything’s quite peaceful. Strong crowds too in Sydney, the rally proceeding in heavy rain. 采访者7: One China! No lies! The groups says the size of its demonstrations prove Australian pro-Tibet campaigners are the minority.
