Brief description of the role.
This role requires someone who likes being a ‘jack of all trade’ who enjoys web programming and occasionally likes to get hands on to fix computer things now and then. Good communication skills are required. The technical skills required are
Programming
Intermediate or Advanced PHP and Mysql development experience
Intermediate Java/ Java scripting development experience
Experience in Web page development
Applicants must be able to demonstrate or refer to sites that they have helped developed and briefly explain what types of functionality they have implemented.
Support
Troubleshoot configuration issues on PC’s and printers
Troubleshoot configuration issues on networks
Experience in using Linux server
On site Training will be provided as required.
The position is based in Newtown – 8.00am to 5.00pm (Mon-Fri) Some on call duties may be required.
Applicants are required to travel to other sites within Sydney as required. It would be preferable that applicants have their own transport although other arrangements can be discussed.
