This strange-looking creature was discovered near Nature's Valley, a southern resort town near Plettenberg Bay. It was photographed by the 17-year-old son of national park ranger Lleyellyn Dixon, the South African Herald reported. Following days of speculation, Dr Madgalana Braum of the Crags Veterinary Clinic shed light on the find: it was a disfigured baboon. He believes the remains look misshapen because the animal had been carried around by its mother after its death.
