With offices around Australia and continued strong growth, the firm is seeking to appoint a part time admin/bookkeeper to support its operations. The position is located in the firm’s Melbourne CBD office. The person will be responsible for a range of tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Reporting to and working with the Office Manager the Book Keeper will collect outstanding accounts, verify the authorisation of payment requests and assist with the general running of the office. The Book Keeper will assist with other accounting functions such as bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasts and BAS statements Attention to detail is a key requirement for this role along with excellent time management and personal organisation. The Book Keeper will be responsible for inputting financial data that is used to track individual projects and the ability to accurately record detailed information is vital. The Book Keeper will also liaise with staff in our other offices to verify information and payments. We use QuickBooks so it is preferred that applicants have experience using QuickBooks, including payroll, but applications from candidates with demonstrated book keeping experience using other systems are also welcome. Familiarity with Excel is a requirement for this role. This position is initially offered on a 20 hours per week basis with flexibility for the successful applicant to elect to work 3, 4 or 5 days per week. |
