Exetel has steadily built a suite of products and services aimed at the business marketplace over the past three years and are now being used by over 1,000 business and government organisations. These services are built around high speed SHDSL point to point and VPN links of up to 4 mbps and, over the last 6 months, over Ethernet links of up to 50 mbps. The customers of these business services include banks, insurance companies, NSW and Federal Government departments and a wide range of businesses based in all States of Australia. Additionally Exetel offers business grade VoIP solutions as well as a full range of hosting solutions and there has been a great deal of interest in the newly released bulk SMS service. Exetel is now expanding the resources and effort to more rapidly grow this key aspect of the business and we are looking for people who will be able to assist small and small/medium and mediumlarge (10 to 500 employee companies) make their businesses more efficient by using Exetel services. We only provide services to business customers which we use ourselves and Exetel is one of the most advanced users of communications technology in Australia with significant levels of automated systems based on multiple Ethernet links, VoIP PABX and Asterisk linked data base services connecting Exetel personnel in different suburbs of Sydney, Perth and Colombo in Sri Lanka. The duties of this position are to answer incoming telephone calls and respond to emails of the following types: Explain all aspects of SHDSL Explain all aspects of wire line telephone Explain all aspects of VoIP telephone Explain all aspects of mobile telephone Explain all aspects of SHDSL/Ethernet business connections If the customer wishes to take their interest further then you will be responsible for submitting a fully documented proposal and then following it up to ensure that any remaining questions are answered. Remuneration will reward experience and qualifications and comprises a generous base salary and a highly rewarding commission scheme. You should state what remuneration you are looking for in your application. Exetel's offices are in North Sydney within a 5 minute walk of North Sydney station; parking is reasonably easy and close. You will work with a group of dedicated and very competent engineers who will install and maintain all services and will receive the back up of very solid promotion services that will generate a consistent level of sales enquiries.
