This group is specifically structured to meet the business requirements for a specific customer. The objective is to provide a structured framework that will enable you to oversee the work of the Security, Storage, Network and Infrastructure Architects within your team. You need to have a range of skills and a well-rounded technical background, UNIX (Sun, AIX, ) technologies; in infrastructure - networking, internet technologies, IT security, data centre design, storage, server, and networking virtualisation, distributed systems and mainframe connectivity knowledge sets; and in business solutions - document and records management, workflow, imaging, knowledge management. As the lead technical architect, you will work with customers to translate strategic requirements to develop, design and manage the development or migration of a considerable number of solutions, encompassing standard operating environments and enterprise server-based computing solutions for large corporates and government departments, enterprise storage and archival solutions, virtualised computing infrastructures, high availability and systems continuity solutions, business systems management including service support and delivery, infrastructure and application management, enterprise content management including document management and records management, workflow and imaging, and e-business enablement, through to suites of line-of-business and broking systems, as well as strategic planning and technical roadmap development consultancies.
