One of our teachers will take part in a training program and her originals should be sighted. But my coordinator is on leave, so she told me that the coordinator of another department could do that. I took the teacher downstairs and asked the coordinator to sign on the copies of originals like “originals sighted”. To my surprise, the coordinator wrote on the copies “originals sited”! The teacher noticed that as well as I could see from her facial expression. Finally, I pointed out the mistake the coordinator made. She didn’t correct it right away, but just asked the teacher if she did the right thing, and the teacher said that it should be “sighted” not “sited”. Of course, the coordinator was very embarrassed, me too!!!!!!!!! My faced was flushing right away as if it was not the coordinator but I who made a big mistake!!!!! In the lift upstairs, I said to the teacher, “I didn’t mean to embarrass her.” “Oh, I even didn’t recognise that she made a mistake, ‘cause I didn’t wear my glasses.” It seemed that I did an ever-stupid thing!!!!! I’m very upset now! I didn't mean to challeng the coordinator's authority. I did the wrong thing????? [ 本帖最后由 miminini 于 2006-8-31 12:51 编辑 ] |
