Finally 2003 has come to its end. It has been a memorable and eventful year to me. From time to time I simply cannot help feeling amazed at how much internet can do to change one’s life. In the year that is due to pass soon, I became a qualified NAATI translator by pure luck; I took a trip back to where I came from and spent quality time with family members; I made many new friends on net and was fortunate enough to come to face to face with some of them; my world became much broader than before thanks to all the friends and their friendship. At the end of the year, I am happy to say I am still reasonably healthy and young (thank goodness) and apparently more confident and jolly. There were both good and bad days like all other years but 2003 is certainly a year that is not easy to forget. Now what am I looking forward to for next year on this New Year’s eve? To make more money? hopefully; to see more of the world? probably; to make more friends?most likely; to continue enjoying the friendship of existing friends? definitely. Above all of these, I would like to wish myself good health and contentment at the bottom of my heart. Happy new year to all my dear friends, whether we have met or not. Together let us celebrate for those unforgettable moments we have shared as well as the unknown days ahead. More importantly, let’s take the ride and live life to its fullest in yet another year to come. |
