A month ago, I got the voucher from my company as a compensation for overtime during the financial year end. It is supposedly for a 40 minutes massage but interchangeable for other services of equal value (or less, but I wonder who would do that). Having checked their website, I found that besides all different styles of massage, they could do facial (along with a mild massage of upper body) as well. Ever since the year end, I had the worst breakout of pinpals in the whole year. Therefore, it became more cause effective that the facial is a remedy for the year end symptoms. I have booked it at lunch time today. It is a small clinic with only 3 or 4 rooms. The light is dim, but the smile on the girls face are warm. All the products used in this clinic are natural products. They are not big names as AESOPS or Jurlique, but all has a strong scent of herbal essence. First step is quick cleansing, followed by a facial massage. I tried to remember all those strokes on the cheek, the chin, the forehead, but there were too many differenct strokes-they are professional, I am too greedy to think that I can learn sth in 5 min which take them 5 months. The deep cleanising mask was a mixture of several products cos I heard the bottles clinking. It must have contained some sort of mud, it feels as slimy as the one I had at home. While waiting for the mask to set, the girl massaged my arms. After rinsing off the mask, she applied serum oil and moisturizer and then go on massage my neck and back. 40 minutes of pure indulgence went flying. The result? hehe, my colleagues all said my skin was glowing after it. AND, I find my blackheads are gone, which is a bonus! The price? (well, I can't expect same gift voucher every 3 months, can I?)The answer is $50. Not cheap but I think it is bearable considering that I will probably only do that once in a couple or 3 months.
