Picnic, Walking & Family Gathering, altogether at WORONARA DAM, 20 December, Sunday Meeting Point: The Point A, Woronora Dam Picnic Area (11km from Waterfall Railway Station) Meeting Time: 11:30 am Picnic Time: 11:30am – 1:30 Pm Walking Starting Time: 1:30pm Walking Track One (2-3km): walking on top of the Woronora Dam and the nearby area. Walking Track Two (10km): after finished the walk on Track One, further walk from Point A to Point B (Heathcote National Park), then return to Point A. Your favourite drink and food (home made preferred) for share. Woronora Dam is the only one of Sydney's major water supply storage dams which is not a component of the main Upper Nepean / Warragamba Shoalhaven Scheme. Originally built to provide water for the Sutherland - Cronulla area and the northern side of George's River, it now serves the Sutherland - Cronulla -Heathcote areas.
