The annual BRW Corporate Triathlon — to be held at Elwood Beach this Sunday 5 March 2006. The BRW Corporate Triathlon is Australia's largest triathlon event with over 4,000 participants, 92 corporate marquees in addition to displays, band, entertainment, fashion parades, coffee cart and sausage sizzle and an expected crowd of 10,000. Details as follows: Venue Elwood Beach (Surf Life Saving Club) Time 7.30am until 1.00pm — Race starts at 7.30am Date Sunday 5 March 2006 Parking Elwood Beach Car park and surrounding streets (Suggestions: Point Ormond, North Road car parks and residential streets around that area). However, if you wish to park at Elwood Beach Car Park, you should get there as early as possible. Beach Road (from Elwood to Kerferd Road or thereabouts) will be closed from around 7.00am. |
