Role and Responsibilities: Manage the daily cash flow receipt process, including bank reconciliations and following up with outstanding debtors. Prepare ongoing financial reports for Management and Government Statutory bodies such as the Australian Taxation Office. Prepare annual tax returns, BAS, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets for submission to the Australian Taxation Office and other statutory bodies. Oversee foreign exchange trading, offering reasonable prices to both the sales and operations departments. Collaborate with department heads to analyse sales and operational expenditures, preparing weekly cash flow forecasts and budgets. Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements for the manager. Process and monitor invoice finance facilities. Manage month-end procedures, including monthly journal adjustments and reconciliations. Maintain fixed asset records. Provide advice on accounting processes, business plans, and potential projects. Gather and analyse financial information for internal use. Liaise with and support external accountants. Core skills you need to succeed in this role: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Previous experience in accounts receivable/payable is essential. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience using NetSuite is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Advanced computer software skills, including Excel. Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately. Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and analytical skills. Additional Benefits: 17.5% annual leave loading.
