Since our humble beginnings we have grown to be a respected dealership in Melbourne. We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to join our team in the role of Assistant Accountant. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role and will be confident dealing with a range of accounting processes (including payroll, account reconciliations, and general accounts administration). Accounting qualifications and automotive industry experience would be highly regarded, however these are not essential. We work in a fast paced environment and pride ourselves on providing a cooperative team environment so you will benefit from ongoing support and excellent training to ensure you are well versed in our systems and procedures. Essential skills and attributes will include: Strong computer skills Ability to multi task High standards of professionalism Excellent written and verbal communication Experience working with the Auto IT system would be an advantage but is not essential. You will be responsible for: Payroll Payroll tax and super lodgment monthly Invoicing Reconciling all creditor statements Following up on all parts, services, and debtors weekly Daily banking support for all departments Petty Cash Costing and processing deals Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Other duties as required |
