This is an exciting, busy role requiring the expertise and brilliance of an intelligent, creative being truly passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible with technology orchestration and automation. Day to day what you’ll do: Design, build, own and integrate end-to-end infra services that enable high velocity and staggering performance into our global automation pipeline. Work cross-functionally to create lightning fast, rock solid production systems that are built to last. Develop, configure and enhance our automation stack and our CI/CD pipelines. Create Technical and User Documentation that every collaborator can use, improve and share. Change management, application monitoring, deployment, optimisation. Migrate existing BU solutions into our brand new infra with code, automation and CI/CD for the APAC region. Technical Experience Required Several years of experience working with Linux or Windows in a large High Availability environment Experience with AWS and Azure (or experience with one and deep knowledge of the other) Excellent source / version control experience *ideally Git, GitLab, GIT flows and CICD Hands-on experience with Terraform *or commensurate proficiency elucidation Understanding of network protocols (IP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, Load balancing,...) Extensive hands-on experience with Puppet or similar (ansible,...) Scripting skills in shell and programming skills in Python (or GO) Experience with security standards (PCI-DSS,...) Experience with hybrid infra (On prem + cloud) Non-Technical Experience & Traits Required Strong *non-cognitive biased* heuristic problem solving skills A highly collaborative team player who is analytical, practical Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal An orchestration enthusiast and automation aficionado Fast learning = vital Intelligence = imperative Sense of humour = paramount Nice to have experience (not required) Experience with ELK, Docker, Kubernetes Knowledge of GO Familiar with service discovery in a micro-frontend architecture Bachelor or Master degree An up to date passport Bonus Points For Having read sre.google/sre-book/table-of-contents/ *more than once Owning a copy of Oreilly's Infra as code *A PhD in Self Healing Systems Spoken French |
