今天收到CC的信，说政府说不去的人可以从7/13-8/20不要付GAP FEE。但是给CC的jobkeeper在7/13开始停了，而且ATO也不给钱了，所以不管我们去不去，GAP FEE必须要付，不能免。是这样的吗？ The Federal Government is allowing Child Care services located in areas subject to lockdown restrictions, to waive parent gap fees if children are not attending child care for COVID-related reasons from Monday 13 July to Thursday 20 August 2020. While the Centre has enjoyed outstanding support for our fundraising efforts to-date, these funds were required to support CC to July 2020, without contemplating a second lockdown period. As a not-for-profit centre we are unfortunately not in a position to wave gap fees during this July – August period. The factors that have informed our decision are that a number of the financial assistance Government programmes offered earlier in the year to Child Care centres are no longer available. These include: • From 13 July 2020, the JobKeeper scheme ceases for Child Care centres – while a transitional payment has been introduced to support centres until 27 September 2020, it is at a significantly reduced rate. • Cashflow Assistance from the ATO has not been extended beyond June 2020. |
